Journal of Islamic Monetary Economics and Finance (JIMF) adalah journal yang diterbitkan dengan sistem peer-reviewed dengan frekuensi terbit setiap semester (Februari, Agustus) oleh Departemen Ekonomi dan Keuangan Syariah, Bank Indonesia. JIMF ini diterbitkan dalam bahasa inggris yang berkontribusi dalam menyebarluaskan penelitian penting yang mencakup bidang Ekonomi Islam, moneter dan keuangan sesuai dengan hasil empiris, metodologi dan teori yang berkaitan.  Topik yang ada dalam jurnal ini adalah terkait dengan: mikroekonomi; keuangan; pasar finansial; makroekonomi; pertumbuhan dan pembangunan ekonomi; perdagangan internasional; kebijakan moneter; perilaku permintaan and penawaran uang.

Kriteria utama untuk dipublikasikan oelh JIMF adalah kontribusi yang signifikan dan kecermatan hasil analisis dari artikel terhadap literatur dalam bidang Ekonomi Islam, moneter dan keuangan. Keputusan untuk menerima artikel yang akan dipublikasikan berdasarkan proses review yang independen yang memberikan kritik konstruktif dan evaluasi yang cermat atas manuskrip yang dikirimkan.
