DINIKA: Academic Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed journal published three times a year (January-April, May-August, and September-December) by State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. The main objective of DINIKA is to offer an academic space of exchange ideas and initiate the increase number of qualified article produced by postgraduate students, practitioners, and academicians.

Formerly, first published in 2003, DINIKA was initially published as DINIKA: Journal of Islamic Studies, a bi-annual journal on Islamic Studies. Since 2016, the journal transforms its name to DINIKA: Academic Journal of Islamic Studies. DINIKA has dedicated to be an excellent journal by publishing innovative articles on Islamic Studies.

DINIKA: Academic Journal of Islamic Studies openly invites manuscripts with various topics relating to Islamic Studies in broader sense, not only Islam as religion per se, but also Islam and Muslims related to its historical, social, cultural, and political context.
